This is a compensated review from BlogHer and Walgreens.
Thanks to Blogher and Walgreens, I was given the opportunity to try some of the Walgreens Brand Health and Wellness Products. I headed straight to the sunscreen products, because in my family we can never have enough sun protection and I wanted to stock up on sun screen for my track tream. We’re going to attempt to end the season with no sunburns. The Kansas sun and wind can be brutal this time of year so I chose three products that will help block the damaging rays of the sun and help keep our skin moisturized.
The Walgreens Brand products are located on the shelf next to their name brand counter parts so it is easy to compare the ingredients and price. I purchased the following ingredients to try out on my family and track team:

Walgreens Sunscreen Lotion 50spf, very water resistant- I bought two 3 ounce tubes for $5.00. These tubes will live in our vehicles for a quick cover up before heading out in the sun. We wore them today as we ran outside and so far, no complaints.
Walgreens continuous Spray Sport 50spf- These were on special buy one 6 ounce bottle for $7.99 get one free which is a great savings. I’ll use this sunscreen on my track team to keep them protected during our practices and meets. I love that it’s water and sweat resistant which means I can spray it on my team and they can run, jump and throw as hard as they want without losing the protection when they are dripping with sweat. The continuous spray application makes it easy to apply in a rush. Since most of my athletes rush from one event to the next, this will come in handy.
Walgreens Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen 100+spf- $9.99 I’m eager to try this product on my own children since I gave birth to four very pale skinned children. It’s dermatologist recommended, contains anti-oxidants and is oil free. I’ll start my kids with this product and hopefully avoid sunburns this spring as they run out to play in sun. I tried this product today and I like it a lot. It’s not as thick as most sunscreens, it doesn’t feel tacky but leaves the skin with a shimmer and soft texture and a little goes a long way which means this tube should get me through track season just fine.
I’m happy to be using these products to help prevent sunburns on my kids and athletes. All the Walgreens Brand products are recommended by the Walgreens pharmacists and have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I think the price and quality of the products are great for a family needing the best product at a good value.

I love to shop at Walgreen’s. They have great deals and their photo processing is the best I’ve found and I’ve tried most of the local stores.
Walgreen’s brands are just as good, if not better in some instances, as name brand items.
I had gastric bypass and my B-12 is always low… I really need this! Always buying the generic brand and I don’t see it as much different…
I use many, many, many of Walgreens brand products. Their sudafed is works the same, Ibuprofen, vitamins, disinfectant spray (do not spray on anything black because it has some bleach in it) their peroxide is a staple in our house.

We have tried Walgreens Oral Relief Sore Throat Spray in Cherry Flavor and it is every bit as good as Chloraseptic (which we also love). Why pay more when you can get the same quality for less?
