The Stairway to Motha Lovin’ Laundry Hell!!!

Gah…..Da…….Mothah….Truck……GRAWRRRR!!!!! What do they think this is?  A laundry chute?!!!

Hello fine fellow friends.  Welcome to THE STAIRWAY TO HELL!!!

My Children’s Rooms.

I don’t know why, but lately, the laundry is eating away at my very soul.  MY SOUL!!!  MY SOOOOOOURRRRRLLLL!! Laundry is like a little yippy dog that follows me around and when I finally stop to tell it to HUSH it raises it’s leg and pisses on my shoe. Then I find a pile of it’s crap on my bed and then I find that it chewed on my couch and then I find that….okay, maybe that’s not laundry because a dog could really do that, but still laundry is as maddening as a little yippy dog with greasy fur and smelly breath that won’t leave me alone!  Laundry is like the black licorice after taste that lingers for days.  Laundry is a diarrhea fart that follows you around the house and you can’t escape it.  Laundry is soda with no fizz.  Laundry never thanks me.  Laundry never gives me a raise.  Laundry is a nasty son of a Biscuit Cutter!  I HATE LAUNDRY!!!  From this day forth my children will not wear clothes!  There, I just solved all my problems.  I’m a genius.

Now, who’s got a problem that they can’t solve?  Huh?  Cuz, with a brain like mine….ain’t nothin’ I can’t handle.  ‘Cept laundry!  I just can’t handle that laundry no more!

*Added after so many comments telling me to get my kids to do their own laundry.

MY OLDEST TWO CHILDREN DO THEIR OWN LAUNDRY and have been for the past few years.  Yes, they are supposed to do it on a designated day and yes, they have their own baskets.  Yes, I make all four of them put their laundry away and help sort/fold…blah, blah, blah.

I told my daughter that if she lives at home her first year of college that she will have to go to a laundromat to do her laundry and I’m totally serious.  If she’s not moving out, her laundry will.  Maybe I should do this to the oldest two now. Hmmmmm….
