We all thought about it for a long time and decided the best place to put the tree was in fact, in front of the door. No one comes it…no one gets out. It’s perfect!

Very nice picture! My husband has had to retire this year. His broken back that occurred 17yrs ago, is finally saying,”No more,Pal. We are done”! In a blast of bravado and Christmas spirit, We got a lovely ten ft. tree. He can’t stand on ladders and I’m 5ft4. Could you really, really tall people come and decorate the top of our tree? Put the Angel on top? Love,

I wanted to put our tree by the back door this year but the idea was vetoed by the fam…
We hardly ever open the darn thing and we have several other escape routes if needed.
I’m showing this post to my family. If April and Clay can put a tree in front of their FRONT DOOR, next year we can put ours where I want it to go. Thanks April !!

Ours sat in the dead center of the room for a while. Until I started screaming that if we didn’t find a place for it, I was chopping it up for firewood. It took some major furniture re-arranging, but it finally found a home.

My sister did that at her apartment one year as she had 2 doors in the living room. Unfortunately, my father didn’t know that. One day, when he was dropping something off for her, he used his key and barreled in that particular door destroying both the artificial tree and most of her ornaments. Wasn’t pretty. Our family motto is now, “Never put a Christmas tree in front of a door.” I had to laugh when you posted this. Brought back memories. : )
