Yes, I’m dancing in my kitchen…again.

Someday my children will have these dance videos of their mother to show  to their children and their children will look away in shame and embarrassment and I will smile down from Heaven and know that I did my job well.

Let’s list out a few things, you know I love a list.

1. I don’t have any clean shorts, so I’m wearing my painting shorts that I also wore when I was pregnant.

2. Yes, they still fit…..bite me.

3. Sorry I said bite me…but not really.

3. I went to the lake, came home and showered, this is the result.

4. My daughter is cooking muffins.

5. I have on zero make-up.

6. I pulled my bangs back with a clip I snagged out of the back of my daughter’s hair.

7. My son is eating cereal.

8. I can barely stand to look at myself, but I laugh every time I watch the flying part, you’ll understand when you see it.

9. This video will embarrass the crap out of at least three people that I know and love.

10. Those people are not my husband or children, they are used to this sort of thing.

11. I love you.

April’s back! Hope you don’t mind that I watched that 6 times to gear up for my painting project today. Perfect timing!

Your children will realize at some point (I am guessing they may already, but don’t admit it!) how lucky they are to have such an enthusiastic mom who is a darn good dancer, and doesn’t care who knows it. Keep up the dance videos!

  • I love your dancing videos, so much joyful fun… I like how in this video the kids are in the background just carrying on with life… if I danced in the kitchen my son would stop in his tracks and gaze in wonder at his mom who had lost her mind…

What is the name of the song and the artist, please? LOve your dancing!

I bookmarked your blog a few months ago and check it frequently in hopes for a new dance video. And it made my day today! You are hilarious! Thanks!

o…m….g….I think what I love best about the video (other than the smack dancing skills!) is that your kids are barely even giving you a glimmer of attention so they are mighty used to the whole dancing and videotaping thing!

I need to flag this so I can go back and look at it when I’m having a bad day!

  • loved it. YOur kids will treasure all these videos when you are my age and they are in their 30′s. And then…wait until you are 80…you will treasure them.

  • I gave myself a hernia from laughing – but the flying part was TOTALLY worth it!!! LOL

  • I think you should come stay at my house for at least seven days. That would be a good start. We need some of this kind of thing around here. :)

  • The 1st show of the new series, broadcast on Saturday, featured a kissogram, a naked Doctor along with a “sexed up” Tardis.Throughout the unique 65-minute episode, The Eleventh Hour, in which Doctor Who had 20 minutes to save Earth from aliens identified as the Atraxi, his new companion, Amy Pond, was revealed as a kissogram dressed in a skimpy policeman’s outfit, complete with mini-skirt and handcuffs. In one scene, Amy, played by the actress Karen Gillan, told the Dr that her kissogram repertoire also included nuns and nurses’ outfits. Locate out extra at Sci Fi Fan.
