The Sibling Photos

1993 1992- Giant woman gets married.  My daughter asked, “You had me the same year you got married?”  before I realized I put the wrong date on this photo….and it took me a while to comprehend it after she said it.  Yeah, who’s gonna forget how many years we’ve been married?  Uh, that would be me.

I still love my dress, I don’t care what people say…especially my good friend that makes fun of it and says, “You can totally tell you got married in the early 90’s with that dress!”

The portrait collar and inverted waist with simple beading….I loved it.  But, the veil?  Yeah, I would change that monstrosity.  Just the fact that my hairdresser had to make my bangs stand at attention to tone down the flower power should have clued me in to the utter disproportionate display of satin and tulle.

This is my favorite photo from my wedding.  My mom, my sister and me.  I think photographers should take more close-ups like this at weddings.

Ashland Christian Service Camp Lifeguards summer 1987-  Rechelle and I spent an entire summer sitting in a lifeguard stand making sure that little kids didn’t drown.  This would be the best tan I ever had in my life…except for the next summer when I did the same job by myself.  Thank God I don’t have skin cancer….yet.

Frosted plastic pastel button earrings, oh how we loved them.
