Clay and I had lunch together on his birthday way back in October, like a thousand years ago. Where did October go? Anyway, when we were coming out of the restaurant we saw this little mister with his head sticking out of the window. I threw the camera at Clay and told him to get a shot of that dog.
Hello Mister. Is your name Mister? I love you. Oh, hi Clay, I love you too.
Don’t you love his one eyebrow? The dog, not Clay. It looks like he fell on a magic marker and then he chewed it up and spit it out.
Look at that mouth. How can you resist this guy? And the best part, he matches the car! Again, I’m talking about the dog…not Clay, just so we’re clear.
Bye, bye Mister. I’ll love you forever. You have a cute eyebrow and a very clean car. I don’t know what having a clean car is like or a cute eyebrow.

such a sweet post and a swee mister (the dog, not Clay, although i think Clay is pretty sweet too.)
what is a clean car?
Funny eyebrow!!! Looks like someone drew one eyebrow on him then got caught and couldn’t finish the job. Reminds me of The Little Rascal’s dog.
By the way can Clay “The Birthday Boy” find some time to update his story. I know he’s been busy with pigs and kids and celebrating his birthday….but we’ve been waiting sooo long. Please, please, PRETTY PLEASE….
Only a mama could love a face like that.
We have two cats. The boy has beautiful gray and black on his face and his eyes are lined in black. Gorgeous.
The girl has gray and black on one side of her face and orange and black on the other. One eye is beautifully lined in black, the other is lined in orange. It looks like she forgot to put eyeliner on one eye. Bugs me to no end. I was thinking of getting her eyeliner tatooed on. What do you think?
good looking dog, photographer as well. I’d second the vote for clay’s story. although don’t get me wrong April I love your stories too.
My car is semi-clean once every 3,000 miles. Very cute doggie in the window.
That dog is fine, but Preacher is a great dog. I’m sticking with Preacher, and I don’t know if we approve of you going around taking pictures of other people’s dogs.
You should see my dog Leroy. Talk about a fight with a black magic marker.
Does Preacher know about this?
Maybe mister is a miss and would like to go home with you.
There’s longing in those eyes.
Remember that word “longing”? Oh, never mind, you’re much to young for that one.
The nick name I used for my English Mastiff was “Mister”.
I love Mister. He’s so cute!
and I love the picture of Clay taking the picture!
That dog has the funniest look on his face. Love the one eyebrow and big head!
That’s one cool looking dog…plus mister looks pretty friendly too.
April, I’m thinking you don’t have much time for blogging so I suggest it’s time for another edition from Clay! He can write about childbirth or something. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
