I work with the most amazing people. They all love their jobs, love the kids, love the school and guess what? I love them!
Today, I’m thankful that I get to work with them. They are beautiful and I am blessed to have them in my life.

Sprint is my job partner. We are the Development Directors for our school. She is a whirlwind of energy and always so positive. We’ve been working together for seven months and it’s been a joy. She loves working on the corporate side of things and I love doing all the event planning. We are a great team. It takes both of us to get the job done. She’s not only a work partner but a good friend, our families have spent enough time together now that I don’t know what I would do without them. Look at her, she’s adorable!

The Administrator- Giving her that title makes her sound mean and scary, but she’s not. I love this lady. She is always two steps ahead of me and keeps me on my toes. I’m so happy to be working for her. And guess what? We took dance lessons from the same studio when we were little girls and she dated a guy from my high school when she was in college. Her husband was best buds with a guy in my class too. My world is very small. I not only love her, but her entire family including her parents…can you tell we spend waaaaay too much time together? She’s very cute, isn’t she?
Super Woman- This amazing lady runs the school. Technically she’s the school secretary, but Super Woman is a more accurate title. She does everything….everything. And she does it with a very calm demeanor and quiet voice. I love that. She tried not to volunteer for things since she doesn’t have a child in school, but she can’t help herself and she loves the children..it’s very sweet. I pelleted her with emails over the last few months and she gracefully edited them and sent them out to the parents. She also let her office be the spillway for all the auction items and she gladly lets me borrow the large Sharpie marker in the locked drawer whenever I need it. I can’t do my job without her. Oh, and she has a candy jar on the counter that Levi thinks is his own. She’s lovely.

Sledge- This guy will get a post of his own in the next couple days. Sledge is the technical guru at school, he has mad skills on the computer and videography. However, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked into his office and he’s using a pair of scissors to cut donation cards or invitations or bulletin board pictures because he wants them to be precise. I’ve made Sledge design many different pieces that we printed for promotional materials. The process of editing that I make him go through is somewhat comical, he’s a perfectionist to the core and it reflects in his work. I could not have accomplished the three events I planned without him. Oh, and ladies…he’s single and needs a date for the Christmas party, but we’ll talk about that later.
I had to share these people with you, because I’m so happy they are in my life. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving…line up your turkeys and give them a nice Olive Oil rub for me.
I’ll announce the cookbook winner later tonight!

I am new to your blog-what do you do at the school?
I work in non-profit too and LOVE the people I work with! I love that you love yours too. Now we need a post about Clay’s co-workers!
How wonderful that you enjoy your work so much – many people don’t and it is a shame. Wonderful people that you work with – and I bet they are thankful to have you working there.
It’s the TEAMWORK that makes things really happen! I should do a post on all my TEAM at the greenhouse. They are an amazing bunch…..especially when they let me use their scissors
Happy people make for happy work and those people look happy – I think I’d be thankful too!
I’m married but I’m sure my husband wouldn’t mind…
What a blessing to work with great women!
Your title sounds like a law firm.
