I bought a new pair of pants to wear to Reedles’ book signing and I decided to wear them to church today.
I got a huge stain on them at lunch.
I’m an idiot.

Finally delurking to say Hello, neighbor. I might see you there.
oxy-clean and I feel your pain.
O X Y C L E A N !!
Yeah baby!
Hahaha! I’m pretty sure I’ve stained every single item of clothing I own. Either I spill on it, or I sit in something, or I cook dinner and get grease splatters on it. I try to blame my four children, my dogs, my chickens, but unfortunately it’s almost always my fault. Not that it stops me from blaming them, of course!
Someone told me the mr clean magic erasers work on sharpie stains, but I haven’t tried it yet. Most of my stains are always on my front “boob-shelf” and I don’t always notice until later. Embarassingly later.
SHOUT it out. I love SHOUT, if I didn’t use it all our clothes would be permanently stained. Oh, and about the ‘I’m an idiot’ part – don’t worry you are in good company. I think I am one regularly and pretty much everyone I know is one too.
You are not the only one. I put new sweater on today (that got for xmas last year, but first time wearing it). Got food on it at lunch. My family makes bets on time frame that it takes me to spill or drop food on my clothes. The shortest is 14 min from putting on clean or new clothes.
It makes us who we are. Happy Balanced (?) women.
I feel so bad for you and can totally relate. I am a chronic stainer and am horrible at stain removal.
Hope y’all have fun – stains and all!
Well, of course you wore them as soon as you had a chance! That’s what we do whenever we hardly buy ourselves new clothes! Did you try Oxyclean?
spray it with hairspray and soak in biz.
Or, Spray & Wash – I love it. I’m sorry that happened! But, I hope you and MrsMama have a ton of fun!!
Ooh. I feel your pain. I finally bought some new clothes this weekend and I’m scared to wear them. Really scared now. It depends on if you can wash them or not, but Oxyclean and Shout are my miracle workers around here. Hope they come clean.
This tall red-headed guy with the 2 cutest blonde children tried to run us down in the Wal-mart parking lot last night… He seemed really stressed out and said, I had to shop at Wal-mart alone with the kids b/c my wife HAD to to go shopping for a new outfit to go see Pioneer Woman… Now I understand…
Get a scrub brush and go at it like a crazed woman. Crying and looking to the heavens has also been known to help. So I’ve heard.
Sorry. Try dish soap. It takes out most food stains. Just pour some on, rub it in and let it sit for a while before washing.
I hope it works!
