Hi,
I just wanted to ask a quick question regarding my beloved barred rock chicken. I've been noticing that she sort of pants instead of breathing regularly, like my other chickens( an orpington and red star). Is this because she is too obese(13-14lbs)? She often looks sleepy, acts very lazy, and frequently spends her time laying around. She is only 1.5 years old but she has stoped laying eggs completly, is this also because she is too obese?
Thanks, Aerial
