I got in trouble today….and yesterday.

So, I’m in charge of the little kids that are day campers.  They come at 9:00 in the morning and leave at 5:00.  The first activity is art.  The art teacher, Kristin, is amazing and I want to be one of the students in the class.  Except, she won’t let me.  I help her pass out magical pieces of paper and listen to her tell the children about artists and I am mesmerized by her when she’s drawing examples to show the children what to do.  Then I go around and ‘help’.  But, I keep helping my 4yo too much and Kristin insists that he does his own work….but, but, but…me, me, me….I, I, I wanna do it too!  I had to leave the class room.228

It doesn’t help that he looks at me and says, “Mom, you hep me wis dis painting?”  But, Kristin is watching and I can’t…or she’ll kick me out of the classroom again.

240And look, he can do it all by his big self.   The problem is, I don’t get to do it!
