Please help me. I’m working on a horse story….
and a flower story.
I can’t seem to finish either of them. What do you want first? Please advise. I’ll just sit right here by my computer until you tell me. Paralyzed, can’t move. Please help. Fingers poised and ready to type. Horse. Flower. Horse. Flower. Can’t decide.
It doesn’t help that I live with this goof ball. His advice, “Just get them done and post already!” I know. He’s brilliant. Please tell Clay that his hat does NOT make him look like a rancher. Ever since he met Marlboro Man he thinks every hat he puts on his head makes him look like a rancher. Sigh

Well since I’m waiting ever-so-patiently (not!) for my pee-ah-knees to bloom I’ll vote for the flower story. I think the hat makes clay look like Paddington Bear. My husband has one sort of like it.
As for choosing…in the words of my husband…”whatever makes you happy, dear”. So…post whichever makes you happy! : )
For some reason the hat made me think of Gilligan’s Island. We can just start referring to Clay as “Little Buddy” or “Gilligan” can’t we?
Not quite the MM look there but cute. Horse story is my vote
Your husband and my husband would hit it off I think… they’re both weirdos! No offense haha! I vote Horse story!
A horse is a horse, of course, of course…………..:o)
that particular flower is gorgeous. what is it?
I agree with Kate – Horse first, flowers second, Sonic never and husband every other time! I just talked to my neighbors, who are real cattle ranchers, when I heard someone pounding in a fence post up the hill from my house and went up to see who was repairing fences. He was wearing a hat not unlike your husband’s, and she was wearing a ball cap. Wonderful people – the first time we met them after moving here was when some of their cows got into our pasture and we helped chase them back home, and got invited to our great little neighborhood church.
Oh Lordy~that hat has to go!!
I agree with Donna – more dancing! Maybe a horse dancing with a pea-uh-nee in its teeth?
And cease and desist with the cruel Sonic pictures. I grew up on Sonic and now I live eons from the nearest one. So mean!
horse!
I’m new to your blog… but I vote horse.
horse!
A rancher?!?! That hat makes him look like a yuppie city boy who just found out he likes hiking & being outdoors & stuff
Hmmmmm…sorry to burst your bubble, Clay, but you remind me more of my Aunt’s dorky husband. Definitely not MM
Horse story please.
Definitely the HORSE!!!! Although the flowers are pretty too!!! And tell Clay his hat makes him look more like a fisherman! BTW-I showed your Bee video to my best friend and she almost peed in her pants too!
Giggle giggle, snort! Flower please. Clay honey, maybe you should go shopping for a new hat! ask MM where he got his, k!
Flower story! I eat, sleep, breathe flowers. Can’t wait to read your story
LOL! Write about the horse, and tell Clay that if he wants to look like a rancher, he should try a cowboy hat. Hope those fingers start typing soon!! -Blessings
Hi,
I was tagged today to play Crazy Eights. I had to choose 8 blogs I read and tag those bloggers. Unfortunately, tag, you’re it! You can read the rules on my blog at http://www.livingcountryinthecity.com.
Sorry!
Mary
I want to hear about the colt.
Do you know how rare a palomino paint is?
Now you do.
horse first! horse first! please!!! how could one resist that face?! (the horse, not Clay!) and, no, Clay, the hat does not a rancher make! i think i preferred the beekeeper hat!
(sure loved that post!)
Horse, horse, horse, & more horse posts please.
Horse, immediately followed by flowers. Clay, not so much a rancher. Perhaps an Australian model in a Sonic advertisment.
I can’t help you at all, I love peony season, but I also love horses, so just do both at the same time please.
Also, the first Sonic just opened up in my county (San Diego), and it’s so crazy busy, they had to create a “staging” area. You have to actually wait in a line around the corner and down the street. There’s one line if you just want to go through the drive-thru and one to park and eat. I’m just saying, you are so lucky to go to Sonic without waiting in line, even if you have to go with a weird guy wearing a crazy hat.
Clay looks like the guy in the Sonic commercials!!! He would be BETTER than the guy in the Sonic commercial – go for it, Clay.
Since you’re married to the authentic rancher, go with the horse story.
Sorry Clay. If you are compared to MM you’ll never make it. Now PW is currently calling him Griswold any you definitely out Griswold him.
Ok, I vote horse story, and the hat makes your husband look like a deranged park ranger!! or maybe it’s his crazy eyes? I don’t know–but I love your blog!
Ha! Love the hat??!! I need to know more about the foal!! I love, love horses…… flowers are a close second!
Hi, I’m new here, what a sweet place. Love the hat on your honey, love the idea that you have two stories and don’t know which one to write, love that you are letting us to vote. I vote . . . horses, flowers, horses, flowers? Flowers! I flipped a coin and it came up heads (for flowers, tails for horse) all three times!
Clay makes me laugh!!
I say flowers…my grandma always worried that her pee-nees wouldn’t come out in time for Memorial Day. She made a big loop driving down in southern NE to “Decorate the Graves”. Miss you, Gram. *Ü*
Pee nees or horses, just take your time. Meanwhile, Clay, that is a lovely look, truly, but it doesn’t say rancher…well, maybe Aussie rancher, but what do I know? It does however, say LLBean, which I feel is a sign for you and your family to come visit Maine. Just sayin’.
Your husband reminds me of my husband. A real goofball. I’ll bet Clay is a lot of fun to hang around with.
