I’m so glad someone else let’s their kids dance to (our music).
He won’t have any confidence problems when he’s older!

Must’ve have been something in the air. We were taping my little one dancing last night, but I’m not nearly as efficient as you! Too cute!!

Did he go to highschool in the 80′s?

Way to go, Levi! That is exactly how you’re supposed to dance to INXS. His moves are so raw. No, I’m not sure what that means, but my half-caffeinated brain is telling me that’s in the lyrics somewhere. I think you need to try him out on Kung Fu Fighting. What kid doesn’t love that song? What adult doesn’t love that song?

Now, let me tell you a secret that I’m not sure I have ever told anyone else. Molly Ringwald taught me to dance. I remember watching The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, and 16 Candles very closely during the dance scenes to figure out just how it was done. That may have been a mistake.

HAHA! I love it when little white boys dance… I should really video tape mine doing that!

The sad part? He dances much better than I do. And I grew up in the 80′s.

Dang! Does that boy give lessons? Love his haircut.

How do you manage to tape him and not giggle. He is so cute. Now, can he sing?

  • Sadly, that’s much better than my husband has ever danced in his entire life.

    Precious!

Your family interaction reminds me so much of my family. Growing up my family also lived in a farm house, but I think ours was much, much older, being built in 1859. It was really falling down around our ears, as the saying goes, but with five kids and the farm life, making ends was very tight for my dad and mom. I can just say one thing though to anyone who ever put our home down….there was more love in that old house, than you will ever find any “fancy-smansy mansion.” Damn, I miss my dad…the greatest man that ever lived.

  • ya’ll have wayyyyyy to much fun!

Love the 80′s tunes and watching your son dance to them! My boys and I can really “dance” to “99 Luft Balloons”. Can I really be old enough to be part of an era?? Geesh…

    Love your blog!
