Just wanted you to know that when I got home this evening one of my Buckeye hens was prolasped. Big time! Frantic and not knowing what to do---I surfed the net--and found the warm spitz bath water and then douse the prolapse with honey before pushing it all back inside. It is now 11:30 at night and I have my hen tucked into a pet crate with a big bath towel for her to lay her swollen rear on.

I grew up on a farm and yet I still am amazed at what nature can hand out some times! Now to take some Tums to ease my queasy tummy and TRY to get some sleep before I have to go to work in the morning! Saying prayers for my brown Buckeye hen tonight!!!! Love your website by the way!!! Awesome!

What has been seen cannot be unseen... O____O

Actually, this is pretty fascinating, and I've heard of using sugar to re-set prolapsed organs on cows and horses before. I am showing this to all of my friends as part of their daily natural sciences education!
