Just found your site tonight and have been thoroughly enchanted. We have had snakes coming after the mice that seem to always inhabit our chicken coop. They only show up at night. My husband was stashing the feed sacks from the cattle feed in the barn and they were making hotels in them. I decided to clean it up and put the feed in big plastic garbage cans. I put the dog food in one, chicken feed in one, & horse feed in another. There's too much cow feed and he goes through a 50 lb. sack a day. So I burned all those sacks and keep the burn barrel out so that we can burn them as we feed. It has worked out pretty well.

Well, I think it was a reenactment - because I am pretty sure that the "raccoon" is one of mom's puppets.
